Eric's Custom Knives Stanless steel knives take less care just wash of and dry after use try not to let water get into the handles Damascus knives should be washed in hot water then dried well then a lite coating of oil should be appled to the blade to keep it from rusting. We shellac our handles right on the knife making a complete seal. anyone that has removed handles from an old knife would see that blood, grim and germs are under the handle by shellacking the handles to the knife we try to keep all the unwanted material from getting under the handles making the knife more sanitary and easier to keep clean. |
